Grandézza’s private championship golf course stretches across 125 acres of terrain. Golf memberships are limited to a mere 400, which ensures ample space and time to enjoy the beauty of the course. Just want to practice your swing? The aqua driving range and putting green at Grandézza will sharpen your skills. And when the game is over, relax with a cocktail in the Player’s Lounge or visit the expansive Pro Shop.
The course is a showcase of undulating greens, rolling fairways and sharp elevation changes. Designer Darwin Sharp III creates a memorable experience also witnessed by countless species of birds and deer, which share the natural habitat accentuated with stately pine trees. Prior to experiencing this course, the island range provides a glimpse of what lies ahead with its four target greens on the peninsula that range from 80-200 yards and are situated like islands in the water.

Tips from our teaching pro on playing the "Hour Glass"
Visually, Hole #2, a Par 5 also known as the "Hour Glass", could be the most difficult hole at Grandézza. Do not try to attack this hole. Play to the “fat” part of the fairway on both your first and second shot. For example, for the Choice Tee, you only need to hit the Tee shot about 200 yards, from the Oak Tee only about 140 yards. This puts you in the widest part of the landing area. From this point your target should be the 150 yard pole. Hit a shot that will land somewhere near this marker and the ball will roll to a spot no more than 130 yards from the green. But again, you have hit to the meat of the fairway. Most players rely on their short irons to be most accurate going into greens, so now you have put yourself in position to do this. Your approach shot should be aimed at the left middle of the green to avoid the bunker and water to the right. Do not be shy about taking an extra club for this shot, the back half of the green is more than double the size of the front half. Take your 2 putts and be very happy with par each and every time you play “Hour Glass”.
